Yes, Oliverse is real, and so is the grove behind it. Our olive trees in Puglia grow at Le 4 Contrade, a family-run organic estate outside Andria, where Valeria and Sebastiano of the Spagnoletti Zeuli family look after them all year round.

But don’t just take our word for it. Below, Valeria from the family answers the question herself, on video. You’ll also find the estate’s own website and where to find it on a map.

In their own words:Valeria and Sebastiano

Valeria and Sebastiano run Le 4 Contrade, the family estate where our Puglia trees grow. They look after the grove through the whole year, from pruning to picking, and the oil that comes to you is its harvest.

Nothing in this project is fake. We are real people, a real family, in a real farm, with a real tradition.

So, the other question that we are receiving via email is: is it true that Oliverse is your partner? Do you collaborate with them? And yes, we do. Oliverse is our partner, and we are their extra virgin olive oil producers. We take the olives, we make the olive oil from this real, existing farm, since centuries, I would say. And yes, it’s all true. Nothing in this project is fake. We are real people, a real family, in a real farm, with a real tradition and vision about the future. And in this case, future, real future, means a real and good partnership with Oliverse.

Valeria and Sebastiano at Le 4 Contrade, September 2026.

“After we graduated from Bocconi and worked in Italy and abroad, the call of home, Puglia, with all its colors and scents, was stronger than we were. In 2016 we came back to Andria, our bags full of enthusiasm, to bring an old family label back to life: Le 4 Contrade.”

“At the heart of Le 4 Contrade is the source of everything: our organic farm, handed down from father to son for centuries. Our family, the Spagnoletti Zeuli, has been farming since the early 1600s.”

“We only grow local varieties, the true expression of our land: Coratina for our organic extra virgin olive oil.”

They farm organically, “without additives or chemical fertilizers,” as they put it.

Their masseria, the fortified farmhouse at the center of the estate, was designed by the Neapolitan architect Vincenzo Latilla at the end of the 19th century. Around it are centuries-old olive trees, almond orchards, vineyards and wheat fields, between Castel del Monte and the sea.

Inside Oliverse’sPuglian grove

Le 4 Contrade lies in Contrada Torre di Bocca, in the Murgia countryside outside Andria, in northern Puglia. From the old trulli in its fields, you can see the sea.

The trees are Coratina, the classic olive of this corner of Puglia, known for its green, peppery oil. The estate is certified organic by ICEA, its oil has won gold at BIOL, the international awards for organic olive oil, and scored 95 out of 100 in the Flos Olei guide. You can find all its certifications and awards on its website.

From harvestto bottle

Picking starts in the second half of October, as the olives turn from green to purple. From the trees they go to the mill, where the oil is extracted cold, and then into bottles that carry your name.
